Can't see invisible bricks

Make sure the wrench menu "Rendering" is unchecked, and you aren't using a invisible paint.

I was going to say that it could be a conflicting add-on, but if you've re-installed the whole game, that's not it. Perhaps it has something to do with your graphics settings.

you can use invisable paint to have a wiremesh...

Did you keep your add-ons when you re-installed? If you did it might be an add-on.
