ON ANOTHER NOTE

today's accomplishments (or at least this recent session)
> precise 'government' idea put together (very communistic but with variation)
> 'mandates' idea
in the event of the settlement needing something, the government is allowed to go through people's private stock to see if they have any of the appropriate item. in the case it IS THERE, the government will take it and refund it when the need has subsided
> abandoned fort (?) discovered
contemplating simply taking up the fort as another town/outpost/etc, since it is such close proximity to all the biomes
> mass amount of chickens discovered
> grassland discovered
> foxes maintain their 'cool bro' status
> several buildings constructed
> residential area of main outpost under construction
> peace and order maintained
> found a cave (!)
> got attacked by, then got rid of a boar without any weapons whatsoever
> found that directly south of our main outpost is a fantastic watering hole for fish and thus we get rather high quality goods
> several cupboards built
> land officially claimed (but, not named)
> public land laws initiated

in the absence of an overseer or leader, you are not allowed to:
plow land
build larger buildings
mindlessly chop down trees
use resources excessively
move anything around

with the go-ahead by said overseer or leader you are allowed to do almost anything

On a side note: We only captured 1 chicken, the rest scrambled and have most likely been
eaten by out "cool bro" friends.
