I can't host working servers, please help.

Ok. all the servers i try to host have no ping, Ive port forwarded properly (i think so anyway) and it still wont work. my network starts at an old-ish Speedstream modem, it then goes though a D-link DIR-300 wireless G router (i use wired though) then it goes through some other modem/router thing so we can connect the PS3 as well as my PC. i hope someone can help.

Does it have UDNP enabled? And if it's old then it might be bad at hosting servers.

no, its not old, upnp is enabled

the routers only about half a year old. UPnP is enabled, and the ports are forwarded, is it ports 28000-28030? thats what i heard from someone else.

In your advanced settings, change your port to 28100.
