Apple vs. PC

When the iPad was announced I thought of:

Anyways, this is dumb. Even PC users know that Microsoft almost completely ripped off Apple's GUI design. Apple's marketing campaign is vicious, but that's life in the big city.

Also, Apple isn't "restrictive". They have these things we call copyrights to protect their ideas. (My magnetic no-trip laptop charger has saved my ass a ton, and they know it. They're going to keep that idea to themselves, it's just logical.)


Anyways, Microsoft makes great products and so does Apple. If you're going to insult Apple because they name a product "iPad", I really think you should atleast TRY to get some better arguments. (LALLALALA I CANT HEAR YOU doesn't count)

Apple's marketing is vicious and their business model is pretty forgeted up period.

Also they make terribly overprice products that don't do better than their PC counterparts. For the price of a basic Apple desktop, you could build a PC that would blow Macs out the water and then rape the corpse. Ultimately, when you buy a Mac you buy some kind of convoluted status symbol and a shiny glass and chrome box.
