I Get lag attacks

He is using & abusing the offline-mode which RBL automatically goes into when there is no valid connection.
He is probably using a make-shift key which the game thinks is real when in offline-mode, so he can have unlimited bricks.
Bit silly, really.

he can do lan as well

Not when you take out the cable to stop Blockland from authenticating, I think.
I don't really need to, because I bought the game.
