This sounds like one of those alt-f4 things.
As far as I can tell, and i do this sometimes when pc freezes, holding down the boot button shuts down the computer (I have a single button). Most computers do this too. My dad's has double buttons and holding it down does nothing.
If you can't open your antivirus, don't get a virus in the first place, or get a security program which makes you not have any threats at ALL.
