You can edit everything pixel by pixel as you are doing the story, up your time in the setting folder in the game folder so you can have more time to do what you want, and then you can pass on the bottom left when you are done. To edit a sprite select it, then click edit on the right, and then click edit layer on the right after you select the layer on the bottom, then pick color and pick fill bucket or pixel, and draw. You can also save them as new sprites with new names for later use.

Yeah, I just started a game with no second player and have been making a full on "campaign" from there. I figured out the sprite editor and stuff, thanks.
