Author Topic: Problem with starting servers on Blockland  (Read 1775 times)

I'm having a problem when I start a server, even a single player one. It goes, loading the add-ons, la de da, then suddenly it stops and i have to press the X button on the console window to exit. Can someone help me figure out what's wrong?

Also, before this happened, the ping on my server was always ???, and it kept saying "Sending punch packet..." until it went off the screen. Maybe someone could help me with that also?

ping is --- because you didnt port forward i think.

I have a problem joining a server. When I join one, it immediately stops loading. I wondering what is causing that.

...

Reinstall Blockland. If that doesn't work it might be some addon or you need a better computer.

It always stops on config/musicList.cs

As to that, maybe you chose the wrong connection type.

*Ahem* I portforwarded to port 28030 and the problem is with 2 player servers.

/facepalm
Then it is loving obvious that there's something wrong with your music.

And all of the ports in between 28030 and 28000.

Yea, but which one? And how the heck did the problem come to be anyway?

Disable some music,

And you don't have to loving port forward in v14.

Badspot clearly said; "The main new feature is that port forwarding is no longer necessary for most people."

And I'm going to try your suggested route.
