Just an update, I finished the demo, and I created a beautiful suburb in it. Pardon the huds and my hand, but here are some screenies:
Citizen's point of view of the royal suburb of Oasis.
A slightly raised view of the suburb, revealing the majority of it, and then showing the wall.
I also played around with mountains + boulders =ing massive death and destruction, in that order:
Also when the Norwegians became my allies and migrated to my capital, the gates were locked. One of them died, then a large "cult" formed around his dead body:
