How to make people pay for items?

Well, I've had CityRPG for a while and toyed around with it and modified it as I went. I think I've got everything down but I can't figure out how to add weapons to the prefs with prices to pay for it.

I copied and pasted one of the items there and then tweaked it to the weapon and price I wanted it.
