I've finally finished everything, and it's pretty damn lovey.

Specs:

Processor:                     Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ ~4.0GHz (8 CPUs).
Memory:                        3x2 GB Corsair Dominator GT 1866 RAM
Hard Drive:                    40 GB SSD + 2x640 GB Western Digital Caviar Black HDD

Monitor:                        Samsung 23" LED Monitor
Speakers/Headphones:     Creative Fatal1ty Professional Gaming Headset
Keyboard:                      Razer Lycosa
Mouse:                          Razer Diamondback
Mouse Surface:              Razer Goliathus
CD/DVD Drive:                Blu-ray Disc Burner
Operating System:          Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Motherboard:                 EVGA E758-A1 3-Way SLI (x16/x16/x8) LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
Computer Case:              Silverstone SST-TJ07
Power Supply:                Silverstone ST1000 1000w

The system is also water cooled, I won't bother to list the parts since only one or two of you will know what I'm talking about.  The cables are individually sleeved black and UV green.  The tubing for the water is UV reactant black.  The reservoir has a green helix with a UV cathode in the center, and there are two cathodes mounted on the top and the bottom of the case.

The GTS 250 is temporary, I've ordered a PNY GTX 480 and it's shipped out and should be in my system this weekend.  I may or may not keep the GTS 250 inside for physx, even though I definitely won't need to.

That has some finished system photos, sorry I didn't fix the blur.  I have more pictures on my laptop, some work in process stuff and the unboxing.  I'll upload them tomorrow and bump the topic.

EDIT:  The pictures are all up now, lots of the building steps.  I also have been pressured to include my friend David who kept all the parts at his apartment (they wouldn't have fit in my dorm room) and did a lot of work on the computer itself (he had tools so he cut the holes in the case and did a bunch of the sleeving).

Total price:  $4190.90

Boner.

How many rads do you have? A second loop for the 480 would be sweet.

Just one radiator, mounted on the bottom right behind those fans.  I thought about picking up a second rad for the 480, but then I might have to get a second PSU to actually be able to handle another rad + another pump + the 480.  The case was designed so it could hold two PSU's but the rad is mounted lengthwise so it takes up one of the possible spots.  I would have to mount it vertically in the drive bays, which would make cable management a bitch.

Ooh, nice rig. Those are some real high specs and wow, the GTX 480! You've got it going there!

dude, oh wow, you MADE a computer... OMG....This is soooo cool, good fo you!!! :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually was going to put green and white LEDs in it, so you could turn off the green and turn on the white when you wanted to see inside.  Alas, there isn't any place to put them.

I hope that thing doesn't have HAL somewhere in it's name.

JESUS loving CHRIST
That's a beast.
I'm going to steal it from you.

Total cost if you don't mind me asking?

A lot.  I'll add it up tomorrow, but I would estimate around $4000.
