how do i make events

i am tired of asking for events i need i have seen a tutorial somewhere on how to do so how i have no idea how to scrip guns except the range of the projectile and thats all i know all i want to know is how to make events and then if i learn how to do events i then can make my own player type (use standed new script?) thanks
