I finally decided to put this model ingame and started working on portable heavy weaponry! What is planned is that tripods can be spawned on vehicle spawns and maybe as items. And of course heavy weapons like the machinegun to the left, which can be carried around as items. To deploy a gun simply click with the gun on a tripod and it's ready to use. Right now it's only possible to spawn tripods without and with the machinegun but I hope I'll get it working today, maybe together with some new weapons.

Today I will continue the work on the M119 Howitzer. The model already got fixed up and is nearly done. After some adjustments and tests I can say that the M119 will probably have a maximum range of over 3km (The max visible distance is around 1km). It would be nice if the howitzer could tell you at what distance the shell will probably hit but since I suck at math thats probably not going to happen :P I will try anyways.

Right now three people are necessary to effectively bombard a target at long ranges - A spotter who can tell the operator if corrections are necessary, the operator who aims and fires and the loader who reloads the howitzer. Yes, a loader is kind of necessary since the aim of the howitzer resets everytime you exit, which you have to do if you want to reload.

Ah yes, your finally doing more work on the howitzer. woot.
