I remember when the server was on one of the GSF maps, I hit someone with a truvelo from over 3000 away. I didn't aim at him, but he walked over a hill, and then the bullet went over the hill. And then BOOM. "Midair kill!". The bullet flew for so long. I just shot to measure the distance of the hill.

I was pretty amazed. All I was doing was figuring out how much to correct for that hill, and in the process, someone literally walked into my bullet.

I doubt it since most of the maps I used in the last weeks have a drawing distance below 600. But I can be wrong.

Impossible, before I corrected the ranges the Truvelos max range was at 800. After correcting at 1600. Liar.

I once hit and killed two people in a sniping spot on yellow fields with on shot with an M79 from across the map. I tried with the R700, but I had a hard time hitting and they were out of the RPG's range. But it worked

I only guessed that distance based on what I'd been seeing in the binoculars on other occasions. Maybe it wasn't that far. But it was one of the GSF maps without any fog or anything, so you could see for a pretty long distance.
