How do you make bricks never respawn?

When in a minigame, I put brick respawn time to 0. How come it still respawns?!

0 means it dissapears, and 0 seconds later it reapears, and so it will basicaly just reapear, while with -1 it will only dissapear

Also, I tried -1, but it just respawned quicker.
