Steam Compatibility Mode Forced

I have never had this happen to me with on either Windows 7 ultimate 32 or 64 bit. What version of windows 7 do you have?

Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit. I think I was lagging on 2010 beta when it did that to me.
Starcraftman:
I have 2 theories as to why this happened.
1. Steam Beta
2. Microsoft knows the majority of its users are complete handicaps so they made lower end versions of Windows 7 force compatibility mode because most people are too stupid to do it themselves.
Marcem:
I'm saying steam beta, last version (that I know of) lagged a stuffload when it lost connection.
