This sign: "≠" means "does not equal." You used it in a sentence like this:

"23 days ≠ equal a month, two days."

That sentence, read normally, reads, "23 days does not equal equal a month, two days." When you use "≠," it means, "does not equal." Even if it did mean "unequal," (which, by the way, is the correct spelling; "inequal" does not exist) it still would not make sense. If it meant "unequal," that sentence would've read, "23 days is unequal to equal a month, two days." You should have said, "23 days ≠ a month, two days," and nothing more. People use two equal signs separated by a forward slash in place of "≠" because "≠" is a Unicode character and cannot be created by means of a keyboard.

Thank you for attending this lesson in usage, class dismissed.

He used to use the phrase, "critical hippo," which is a play on the word "hypocrite," but has since apparently changed it to simply, "hippo."

We made up and he was removed from the blacklist.
Just don't give up bro. If it doesn't work out, you can always try creating incentives for people to join; create builds, make an awesome clan add-on, offer a more wide range of clan activities, etc. Also, try to get more of your friends to join the clan; clans that have a few members from the start tend to be more appealing to more people.

Sorry, couldn't think of the word "inequal." I know that ≠ means inequal. I said "=/=" is ACCEPTED to mean inequal. I don't know alt codes by heart, nor do I care to open up character map. It doesn't matter, besides which, if you're going to lecture someone on the proper use of characters, next time don't do the same thing yourself.

Also, I think blacklisting someone for purely personal reasons is immature. If I did something wrong to the clan, that would be different. I thought I should hold on to that thought till it seemed safe to state.

Unequal. Unequal. UNEQUAL.

THIS: ≠ OR THIS: =/= BOTH MEAN: "DOES. NOT. EQUAL." THEY DO NOT MEAN, "UNEQUAL."

Hence why you're no longer blacklisted.
Wynd_Fox:
I didn't say "unequal."

..........*massive loving eye twitch*

THAT'S. THE. loving. POINT.

YOU DIDN'T SAY "UNEQUAL," YOU SAID "INEQUAL," WHICH IS NOT. A loving. WORD.
