Also, I just went to a college information fair at a local university and I know where I want to go now and what I want to do. I want to get my Masters degree in computer programming from Colorado State University at Fort Collins and then proceed to get my B.A. (Bachelors) in graphic design (mainly animation) from the Rocky Mountain School of Art and Design. The low end (read that again, the low end) salary for an animator alone is over $47,500/year. The high end salary for a computer programmer, I read somewhere, is $100,000/year. Ideally, I'd like to make anywhere from $65-$80K/year being a computer programmer and $60-$80K/year on top of that being an animator. You do the math. Computers. They offer lots of money. Oh and I turn 17 at precisely 8:32AM tomorrow morning. |
