Scientifically though, happiness is more contagious than sadness. Have you ever cried when some stranger cried? Or have you laughed/smiled when some stranger was laughing crazily (as in not psychotically)?

If I see sad people, I get sad. If I see happy people, I blow them off. :P

They can effect a person just the same, it's just one's own perspective. Sometimes a person wallows instead of laughing, and sometimes it is the other way around. Sometime one feels both. To some people it is a preference, some were raised as such, some just merely are more attracted to one. Each, however, are a part of living and a part of Love. We need both. One can understand no sadness without joy nor joy without sadness.
