The trial was today, ironically, where he went to court to kind of determine if hes guilty or innocent. He's been in jail ever since he was caught. He was also charged with holding his wife and kids hostage and supposedly raping his wife... he's sane, but he just snapped. He was laid off before and then got into an argument with his wife. He supposedly beat my grandfather for some reason and then shot him to put him out of his struggle though his wounds weren't even fatal, he would've lived. My uncle somehow got involved and ended up getting shot. He has yet to tell his side of the story; my dad plans on going to the trail thing to hear what he has to say. Last summer we went to see where he lived. Such irony, a small, quiet house in the middle of some agriculture fields with Glacier Park mountains in the background, maybe five miles back...
Its a loving sad story. We were actually planning to get together last summer so I could meet my grandfather for the first time since I was a single year old.
Such a sad occasion, though Im glad for the most part its over.
