I don't really know the answer to that but what I do know is that the current ones are good and staying for quite a while

yeah that's because I was stupid and tried to use a brush on that layer but I forgot that you can't use the brush on un-rasterized layers so the text layer was rasterized and I couldn't undo it because photoshop is stupid and doesn't have unlimited undo-ing so I ended up having to scale down the entire image instead of adjusting the font size and I know how to easily fix the whole thing but I'm too damn lazy right now so I'll do it some other loving time.
