They are of the same faction I do believe. You don't want humans mistaking a human ship for an alien ship because the humans decided to put a bunch of fungus and muck all over their ship.
Also, it looks good, but I still think the Argos is a bit better due to the interior level. The interior of the Argos was done much better. There should be bunk beds and a meal room in this one. If it is a war ship, it should contain a weapons barracks. The outside looks great but you have to make the inside match the quality.
