Please don't tell me that all that magma is on the SAME Z-level as the forge? The forge also needs to built built partially OVER an open source of magma to work. |

Whats everyones setup... I usually carve into the mountain and make a huge stockpile room bedroom and farm area and dinning room area right away... then i progress onwards to crafts then metal crap. My farm is my main source of food though. I was finaly able to set up a good supply of water, i have a brook right beside me so i channeled it into my fortress :) Also are any of you having trouble with your military... i make loads of leather armor but they just dont pick it up.. am i doing something wrong? |
