If you have one woodcutter, then get rid of the other copper battle axe. Where are you embarking anyways?
edit: Hah, one of my miners has proficient armor user, fighter, biter and dodger, but accomplished miner. forget that he's fighting.

Do you have three pickaxes and one battleaxe? You should get a grower instead of a jewler and make your mechanic do jewelery. Also, get a cat.

i just made my last dwarf before i embarked a novice mechanic and adequate grower to help get a farm going, starving is not fun

i need to figure out how to get a well that won't be destroyed when the water below it freezes
