my newest fortress is struggling to stay afloat but i have added new innovations which help with the tantrums from little food and no beer

one is a dormitory and another is a small 4 table 4 chair eating area in a huge 20X18 storage room so that dwarves can eat what they collect from outside, there is no food remaining in the stockpiles, it was all eaten before i finished digging the first floor!

I have a brook in my fortress. I need some help setting up water wheels and stuff, so I post a pic later.

I like using wind for my engery, though its hard to get power from the surface to under short of LARRGE pits.

luckily i built what they wanted and they took over a craftsdwarf's shop and started making something out of 2 blocks of wood... phew

Copper armor can deflect their wooden weapons, and they haven't attack me even though I've.

- Robbed five caravans (First selling them a copper statue of a dwarf, bonus points for a laughing dwarf statue)

- Ripped up 200+ Trees after they limited me to 125~

- Pissed off there liason twice.

- Trapped and then brutally killed one of their merchants (Upright weaponery.)

2 stone swords? Those are like steel nice job!

So I decided to start on a harder place. Haunted setting.
First time, my dorfs immediately got raped by some loving wolves
Now, I've finally got a new place set up, BUT THIS loving WEREWOLF KEEPS MAKING ALL OF MY DORFS FREAK THE forget OUT WHEN THEY STEP OUTSIDE, seriously, I cant get anything done. Halp.

What you could do, is... Break down into the caverns and attempt to wall off farming area, you need food and wood these grow in the caverns.

Second. Deal with the wolves.

You could flood the entire surface with lava?

Or create a HUGE pit trap to rows and rows of spikes.

Even better yet, attempt to create a box full of ballistas pointing out ward to shoot the wolfies.

Make an army and wage total war.

Be careful with setting up an eco system in the caverns, there are fouler things then wolves in the deep places of the world.

i got raided and my soldiers won't pick up the silver war hammers i made why wont my military do anything theyre just standing there until they're shot to death 3 dwarves died and i can't keep up with the injuries

Better idea. Build a floor covering the entire world held up by one support, and then break it.
