The vision of Choneis....
Success! After Tunneling with my love Zou.
We came across Magma, the metalsmiths were overjoyed in this decovery. And the charcoal covered wood burner threw a party! Useing special equipment from the mountainhomes. About 20 yards away was Admantine. The Admantine needed to be recovered. Upon digging of the admantine, which Zou dug, he came upon a vent, 4 yards across, 3 yards up and what seemed to be infinity below, screams were heard from it, like smoke from a fire. Zou shaked it off and continued to work.
Till suddenly a foul smell entered the room and across the room a fiend began to climb from the vent, scracthing the walls with its long and skinny wings. Hunched upon its skinny hind legs the massive beast reconized Zou, and reached towards him in blood lust. Terrified, Zou dropped his pickaxe and ran away. Only in Vain, to be eaten by the fiend. Choneis, upon hearing, was driven insane, and called the beast, The Nightmare of Fiends.
The creature howled in victory and those who didn't know about them sure knew now. Then The Nightmare of Fiends called forth to his demons and lead them through the carved halls of the fortress. Ripping apart the insane Choneis in their path!
The people above attempted to seal off the creatures, but were too slow in the action. The demons flew into the grand sand halls, and looked about. They seeked whom they may devour. As soon as a dwarf opened the doors to the hall, the creatures driven by evil nature slew them.
They slew the huddled dwarves with their tooth, nail, and poison in groups across the fortress, then stopped to devour the meat.
Two farmers attempted to lock themselves in the bedrooms but were only seconds late. As the nightmares swarmed in, all hope was lost.
The last known dwarf was a female child, going back home to sleep. No more citation is needed.
But thats not the end.
After discovering the hidden path into the fortress Tun and his valiant men blazed a path for the glory of Bricks of Constructing (<- Group name) and settled above the castle itself. They avoided startling the demons below.
The first course of action was to farm and get food. At first, Id the miner, decided to use the old farms, but Tun rejected this idea.
And Id, (Not a bright guy) Decided to wander off into the fortress, when he saw 'it' a water fiend, he managed to escape.
There was talk of war in the camp, to attack head on the demons. However, Id had another idea.
Id said that we can flush them out with water. And drafted Tun into helping him, however, an unseen one eyed beast was there. Id payed with his life.
Tun finished what Id started and went to his men. They gathered and talked about what they were to do.
The men discussed that the only way to kill the beasts was with the axe, since a water fiend couldn't drown! Tun assembled his men and then!
Charged for the glory of Super Awesome World!
They fought galiantly.
Except for Tun, who hid behind a wall. Began to run away, but was hunted and killed.
The story isn't over yet!
