Yeah, I don't like the categories. They should all just be game genres, not handheld retro or indie.

Oh.

The reason I did handheld, retro, and indie is to take into account games that would get otherwise overlooked. With retro specifically, some people really loving like the original Mario game. I know I do; when I first bought it on VC, I played it for two hours straight. It's genius somehow. But do you think it would get neglected in the nomiation process over more modern platformers? Do you think, perhaps, Cave Story would get flooded under the vast amount of other adventure/platformers? Advance Wars Dual Strike. One of the best games I've ever played, and definitely the best strategy game I'm ever played. However, without a handheld category I could easily see it getting swamped under other strategy games.
