ok so i have been playing blockland for a couple months now and i would like to learn how to make maps. i know absolutely nothing, although i have vaguely heard about map2dif and mission editor, i know nothing about them. Any help would be happily accepted

For the search impared:

goto cmd prompt where blockland is installed and type:
blockland -mod editor

start a singleplayer game, and pick a map (slate desert is good).
Hit F11 to open the editor

Look around at the various things you can do and play with -- in particular the terrain editor
