What is wrong with autotune?

There is so much...
I don't know.  When people don't work towards fame it means less.  Like with Jack's Mannequin--this guy is amazing.  I'm almost 100% sure he doesn't autotune.
And then there's Owl City.  Meaningless, senseless 'music' that truly took no work.  Jack's mannequin is special. Owl City is not.
It's like school, almost.  If you cheat (autotune) you might get good grades (ratings) but you fail in the sense that you never tried.  But if you do your best, you can be proud of your good work.  Like Andy McMahon.  Rather than some cheat, like Adam Young (OC's name, right?).
