Basically what I was going to say, so instead of that I will give some examples:

This game: Get a shrine element generator thing- play it, get a monster, play it

Other games, take yu-gi-oh for example: Get a monster. play it, risk losing it. play trap cards according to your prediction of your opponents next move, save up low level monsters to get a bigger monster

I am now being a jerk with nature water time combo. I just spawn nature spirits and power them up with water card while making them immortal so they do 2+ more damage each turn. Have like 3 on the field eventually they are taking like 40 damage a turn.
