Most of the mods are like actual games. They have their own .exe files. But if you're talking about gmod; ur doin' it rong.

It isn't brain breaking, I just mean he's doing it wrong.
Anytime I mod a game I downloaded from Valve Steam, it works fine. Well, as fine as a mod would work, anyway.
Packer:
Love steam, its my MSN but in gaming format. I used it all the time and allows me to talk to people mid game as well as do a quick Google search in-game. There's no point trying to fight it, if it works it works.

The only thing I don't like using on steam is voice communication. Bad quality. I use mumble for that :)
