I had an older profile where I found it, but then for some reason the BoS started to hate me and I had no strategy, no weapons, ammo, anything. I missed like three bobbleheads too.
I just started a new one, only now I can't loving find it. I took the damn metro, hoping to get closer and came out by the Capitol.

Find rivet city, take the metro next to it, and then go to museam station you will pop up in the mall.

Use this map, rivet city is i the bottom right corner.

I found the mall and I love that site.
I found Rivet City already and I took the metro. That came out by the mall, I have that entire area over there down. I need to find GNR.

Opps, I thout you needed to find the museam. Go in the pip boy, data tab, quests tab, and click the one that says fallowing in his footsteps. GO to the icon on the main map, (there will also be a trail) it will lead you to the correct metro line. From there you will meet the pride (friendly) and they take you to 3 dog.
