Modders get exactly what they deserve. They recieve the joy of knowing people use and enjoy their handiwork.
Otherwise they wouldn't give it out for free. Unless they are being held at gun point, they have the option to quit modding and walk away. No one is stopping them, and if modders felt the were over worked, they have every opportunity to quit.
No one demands anything either, and the people who do demand them (just contradicted myself, shhh) don't usually get what they want. People browse the suggestions box, and if something catches their eye as a really good idea, they go out and make it. You are hurting more then helping them if you don't give them suggestions.
I'll agree with you about the credits part, but not the rest.
