To get back on topic:
One idea I've had, but haven't put into motion would be a playertype that would mount a jetpack model on the back of the player and have the model emit the jet particles. Then you'd just have to have it disable the player's jet particle and you'd be set.

I'm sick of kids saying how much a game sucks without posting why. All you cigarette "casual" gamers and fanboys should just TRY making a game half as successful as the games you criticize.

Don't they have a suggestion box?
Do something instead of letting it collect dust.
I like the idea of a Jetpack item that runs on fuel, like you activate it like the Hang glider.
And it has fuel, so you could maybe jet around, but then you'd have to wait for it to recharge.
