An OS with handpicked hardware and custom drivers optimized by the OS maker is more stable when dealing with video related tasks than an OS which tries to be compatible with as much hardware as possible. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Microsoft sells software. Apple sells computers. |

"Portal (with the same code base across platforms) is one fifth as likely to crash on a Mac than on Windows." One fifth as likely to crash = %20 higher chance of crashing = worse? |
