Author Topic: Betelgeuse gonna blow up (2012/doomsday exclusion zone)  (Read 7735 times)

What is the rate of its shrinkage?

And, that would suck if there is intelligent life in that solar system, er was. Dead now.

Kaboom.

 More like Bara-boom.

I hope that there's SOME form of other intelligent life. (Anywhere, not just in that solar system)

So we can do SPAEC WARS.

We can't do space wars yet, our space shuttles will probably just burn up if their race is capable of sending fighters into space.

Edit: To get a better idea, its like sending a wooden dinghy against a modern battle ship.

Wait, if astronomers are seeing it shrinking, hasn't it already blown up by now?

Yeah lol I forgot about the fact that we're only seeing it 600 years ago since what we see is light.

Why is everything happening around the year I was born? 1993, 1993... 1993!

 Can't wait till baraboom :D

Actually a Light Year is the distance light travels in one year AKA:
186,000 miles per second.

Oh wait... your saying the actual distance. Oops.

So I wasn't wrong. My previous statement was in mpy(Miles per year).

I never said you were wrong, I thought you said the speed per second.
