What the heck are you talking about? The companion cube is from the portal game. There was nothing about it stabbing you...
What kind of minigames would this be useful for? I can't imagine a server based solely off of evil companion cubes...

The harmless companion cube was a mod for GMod. It does what's described in the OP.
