Also because WW1 doesn't work well as a game. WW2 works well because it has more modern weapons technology.

ww1 = rifles and pistols.
ww2 = rifles and pistols and flamethrowers and machine guns.
mw = heat seeking rocket launchers and jet planes and helicopters with machine guns and tanks and sniper rifles and machine guns with laser sights

also yuki, it's because they are about 50 different WW2 games and well idk how many modern warfare based games there are, ya they are fun but they get old after a while, and seeing as there are no known World War 1 games it would be a fresh start...
