Make it so you can actually hit stuff. DEX is necessary for any class; for every two levels on a MAG you get 1 ATA. Save any rare weapons you find with a good hit % on them. For every percent of hit on a weapon you get one more ATA.

I have mechguns that have 45 hit.
God I love those things.
I don't miss even when chaining 3 power hits against monsters that I have troubles handling.

Charge Vulcans with 50% hit are an item that appears in the weapons shop when you're at a high level. That's not until around level 150 though I think.

I rarely miss with my Musashi, I'll only miss with my Partisan if I'm hitting a whole group of enemies, and I have like a 20% chance of missing with my mechguns, but I rarely use them.
