Yet I average 50 FPS with super quality TF2?
Chrono:
Of course, if you're smart and don't run 20 programs at once, then single core is okay.

What if he wants to play Blockland, make a map in Hammer, browse the forums, type a word document, listen to music, and play GTA IV at the same time?

I only had the forums and TF2 running.
Then again I can easily boost my FPS if I wasn't using the Meet The Team models.
But them mat_specular 0 wouldn't work and it would be about the same.

MP3 players are for music.
Pencils and paper are for writing.
Architects are for mapping.

And who plays 2 games at once?
Wait, Sleep is Death and TF2 Idling probably counts.
