Not at all. You deal with an aperture ship, bam, APERTURE SCIENCE 50 YEARS LATER. Makes no sense? What happens to earth in that time? Nothing? It's not most likely.

No they wouldn't you dumbass, Gordon has been the absolute main protagonist for the entire series. There would be no upsides to not having Gordon in Episode 3.

If they got rid of Gordon, entire Valve would be in the stuffter.
Also, do Portal and Half-Life occur at about the same time in the timeline?
