few of the games i play often, i torrent just to mount and play. so i dont have to carry a cd case with my laptop when im out or forget up my cds.

You have the right to have as many copies of the game as you want as long as you own it, you just can't sell them or make profit.
Therefore torrenting a game you own and putting your CD key in is very legal.
