The elections were stiff, executions were a necessity. No one was spared, not even the childr...well, they were spared as you can't hurt them.
No Karma Loss:
Open up console, click on them, enter "enable" then "disable" (no quotes). Failing that you can also try "kill" and "resurrect". Failing that (or if you're on a console), I dunno.
