Because prodding around for secrets is fun? :D

How do you guys know it's not Half-Life 3? They'll probably make a new engine if they are releasing a new Half-Life game, and if they don't they're goddamn lazy. The source engine's 6 years old now.

Half-Life 2: Episode 3 = Half-Life 3
It's just a name difference, they are the same game.
Also, the Ep2 engine is not 6 years old, it's 3 years old thank you very much. :P

Source engine came out in 2004 when HL2 was released. Anything after that to this day were just modifications, not new engines.

I know that, but I could also say that the source engine never came out, because the 2004 source engine "is just a modified HL1 Engine", and the HL1 Engine is just a modified Quake engine, which is just a modified notepad document, which is just a modified piece of C++ code!
