You have to make promises to people when you are working to be the king...
You have a choice to fulfill them, or not. You get to be king HALFWAY through the game. Not the end.
You can be a better king or a bad king.
Oh btw the old king's name is Logan.

Looks like counters in Fable 3 are going to be a lot more useful than in Fable 2 from what I've seen.
