you guys do understand the entire purpose of the new update is to add offensive capabilities to the engi, right? do you even read the steam forums? what you should expect to see are sentries that can be built quickly and are more dispensable than the current sentry.

I disagree. Everybody on there atleast knows that VALVe is trying to push the engi to the offense.
The LAST thing engineer needs is a sentry that takes longer to build. The engineer is not only fairly boring, but purely situational. Valve is trying to make each class more versatile, why would they make the engi less so.

Engineer is listed under "defense" for a reason. But it's not like Valve has undermined a class before, remember the Demoman update?
