Yes, it's definitely worth it, and if you have any money leftover get the Fallout complete pack or whatever it's called which contains Fallout 1, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics for 20 bucks.
Be sure to get the Broken Steel DLC too if the GOTY Edition doesn't include it, if you don't you won't be able to continue the game after you've beaten the main story.
