When I first got my computer my dad fell for this we had to get a guy to remove because it wont let you normaly.

Are you serious? This is like if you went into the slums of some fourth world country and banged a transmission hooker with a "greatest hits" of STDs so that you could come back and tell us all something we already know.

VIETNAMESE HOOKERS: BAD.
ANY PAGE WITH FAKED WINDOWS EXPLORER GRAPHICS/ "SECURITY ALERTS": BAD.

I have no idea why people make malware. What the hell is so great about making people pay money for a new computer?
augh antivirus soft /rage

Please tell me you reported it.
It's rare that the virus can get by you unless there's an exploit.

It dosn't work like that nowadays. Earlyer when Windows 95 was around only Viruses where made to do damage and where sent by a Floppy Disk mostly. Now its about %5 of a chance you get a Virus, you mostly get a Trojan or Worm by E-mail or Download or Browser Expilots. Thus these are made to steal money rather than harming the computer. Its all what cyber criminals care about now.

Also, I atleast got 1 normal Virus in my whole life.
Trojans? About 60 or more.

Browser Expilots.
This, and stupidity are the only ways to get a virus.

It isnt a Browser Expilot. You get the Virus by clicking buttons, even navigating away. Also I bet this has been reported because Symantech and more Antivirus companys know about the program. If you're meaning the URL I havnt reported it.

Very true. But I usualy do it on purpose because I get bored.

You get the Virus by clicking buttons,
If you didn't download it yourself, it's an exploit.

I did not Download it. But the Virus made it through. (loving Firewall)
