I think this is a good idea except that kids scream in the mic and make us go deaf, suing Baddy for that possibly.

The problem is that, then I'm spending all of my time muting people instead of, y'know, building.
I'd have to mute at least 90% of the people I meet.
Similar to saying you can just ban people who spam the mininuke-- it doesn't remove the issue that you're banning for, which is far more effective.
Also; microphone compatibility doesn't grow on trees.
