| Fallout 3 Game of the year edition help |

I recently bought fallout three GOTY edition, as soon as it had it I pressed play, It continued to the main menu and pressed "New" when it started to switch to the first slide. The game stopped working and then it was closed I am running windows seven and it came default with the computer,Other steam games work. |

It's not your fault or your hardware, Fallout 3 just HATES Windows 7 (and vista for that matter) but loves XP. Seriously, I ran it on a vista machine and it just crashed all the time. Then I tried running it on 7, same deal just with a FEW less crashes. But when I run it on XP the game NEVER crashes or has any real problems at all. |

The only issue I've had running it on Vista is that it does not want to open back up if you accidentally alt+tab out of it. Seriously, no other issues come to mind and I have 12 hours of play time already. |
